Like A Storm Announce First Ever Headlining U.S. Tour [Update]

Update: Like a Storm have added a rather large number of dates to their U.S. headlining tour. Check out the current itinerary below. And watch a teaser for the tour filled with hilarious outtakes from the Like a Storm guys in the player above.

New Zealand based rockers Like A Storm have just announced they will be embarking on the Didgeridoo Destruction Tour, a seven-week headlining trek across the United States. The band finished up a stateside tour supporting Three Days Grace in the summer and are now ready to hit the road as the feature band. This comes as no surprise as the band has been lighting up the charts at home and climbing their way up everywhere else, with the hit single “Become the Enemy” cracking the Top 25 at rock radio. You can check out the new video for single at Alternative Press.

Like A Storm have seen a lot of the road in support of their sophomore album Awaken the Fire, ceaselessly delivering their music to the masses. When a band is this invested in themselves and what they do, it isn’t difficult to imagine why they’re tearing up the charts and the road with such fanfare. Such a work ethic has earned them praise from some of rock’s biggest stars, including Alter Bridge / Slash vocalist Myles Kennedy, who has described Like A Storm as “the hardest working band in rock.”

Support on the tour will come from From Ashes to New, Stitched Up Heart and Failure Anthem. So far, only nine dates have been announced, as the band will kick things off in Flint, Mich., on Nov. 6, with the rest of the dates coming at a later time. Tickets will be on sale starting Oct. 9 for fans looking to catch the beginning of the tour. Like A Storm are wrapping up some dates in the U.S. this month as well.
