Kids That Rock: Megadeth’s Vic Rattlehead

Who is the smiling skeletal figure? Why is Megadeth‘s longtime mascot, Vic Rattlehead, well known to fans who’ve followed the band for any length of time, but perhaps not as familiar to a group of youngsters. So we set out to discover what some of the tiniest truth tellers have to say when viewing the iconic mascot for the first time in our latest “Kids That Rock” segment.

A handful of kids, including young rockers Izzy and Aaralyn from the band Murp, offer their interpretations on ol’ Vic and Aarlyn once again lets her imagination run wild in describing what she thinks she’s seeing on the cover of Megadeth’s iconic Rust in Peace album cover. While Vic is well-established amongst Megadeth fans, take a listen to alternate names the kids suggest, hear their origin stories for the character and learn what special powers that Vic might have.
