If you’ve seen a Kid Rock show, you know he can make a concert feel like a party. Back in October, Kid Rock took things one step further by actually staging the first annual “Fish Fry” in Nashville, Tenn. If you weren’t there for the massive bash, then here’s your chance to see what it was all about as Kid Rock used footage for his new “Johnny Cash” video.

Rock hosted the event at the Fontanel, giving those who attended the weekend plenty of music and activities to enjoy. As can be seen in the video, there’s lots of great food, fun carnival games, a ferris wheel and a general good time had by all in attendance. You see “Fish Fry” goers participating in games of Cornhole, enjoying the fireworks display and generally having a great time on top of what Kid Rock and the Twisted Brown Truck band brought live.

Eric Welch, who also oversaw Kid Rock’s “Redneck Paradise” remix video, shot the footage from the event and directed this video. To check out more photos from the event, be sure to take a look at the Kid Rock’s Fish Fry Facebook page.

“Johnny Cash” is featured on Rock’s First Kiss album, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard chart when it arrived back in February. The disc was also voted by Loudwire’s readers as the February 2015 Release of the Month.
