Heavy Montreal just revealed the full lineup for its 2016 festival, which will be held on Aug. 6 and 7. Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed have been announced as headliners for the two-day festival, with bands like Nightwish, Volbeat, Mastodon and Breaking Benjamin rounding out the bill.
This year will be the eighth edition of Heavy Montreal, which has become one of the most essential rock and metal festival destinations in North America. Along with the bands listed above, acts like Killswitch Engage, Black Label Society, Ghost, Zakk Wylde, Carcass and Suffocation will decimate Montreal’s Parc Jean-Drapeau. Nightwish will make history by performing the band’s full European-style show for just the second time in North America.
Weekend passes are set to go on sale Feb. 5 at noon ET. Tickets for the full weekend will retail for $149.50, but until Feb. 4 at 10AM ET, pre-sale passes will only set fans back $99.50. After the initial pre-sale, weekend passes will cost $120 on Feb. 4 from 10AM – 10PM ET, so festival goers have two opportunities to save money.
Special GOLD passes will also be available for $275. These will give you access to a reserved premium viewing area near the main stage, private washrooms and exclusive food and beverage stands.
