Simply put, it’s hard to find a hotter band in rock these days than Halestorm and the heat just got a little warmer for the band with the debut of their new video for “I Am the Fire.”
As can be seen in the video above, the band take to a remote desert locale for a rather fiery performance of the song. The clip opens with the band playing during “magic hour” as the sun sets against the painted rocks, but by the time the song reaches its power-driven, Lzzy Hale-belted chorus, night has set and the band rely on their pyro to light up the desert sky as they play.
The clip gives viewers an idea of what Halestorm can deliver live. And for those paying close attention, guitarist Joe Hottinger is spotted wearing a black leather jacket with the band’s Into the Wild Life album lettering sprawled across the back. The band is now offering fans a chance to purchase the jacket via their merch site.
“I Am the Fire” follows on the heels of “Apocalyptic” and “Amen” as radio hits for the band this year. The album is currently available in a number of bundle options at this location.
Meanwhile, Halestorm continue the long and winding road of album support. The band is currently rocking their way through Canada, but Hawaii, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Singapore before the year concludes. After their appearance at ShipRocked in January, look for a European trek to start on Jan. 28. All of their dates can be found here.
