Original KILLER DWARFS Lineup Reunites On Stage In Toronto (Video)

According to M.E.A.T.’s Drew Masters, the original debut-album lineup of Toronto, Ontario, Canada’s KILLER DWARFS performed live for the first time in 31 years this past Saturday night, September 19 at Toronto’s premier rock venue, The Rockpile. The band’s current (and founding) members — drummer Darrell Millar and singer Russ Graham — were joined on stage by former members guitarist Bryce “Trewie” Trewin and Angelo “Ange” Fodero for a one-off “reunion” performance (complete with their iconic “tiger striped” guitars!) of KILLER DWARFS‘ smash 1983 career-breakthrough hit “Heavy Mental Breakdown”.

Via Facebook, the various members posted their thoughts on the historic occasion. Darrell described the night simply as a “magic moment,” while current guitarist Gerry Finn stated that the event was “seriously cool, and way too much fun!” Ange posted a simple message, “Thank you to everyone involved, I had the best time in 31 years,” while Russ summed up the event perfectly, stating: “All four original members on stage again over 30 years later — how cool is that!”

KILLER DWARFS was formed in Toronto in 1981 and continues to rock, showing no signs of slowing down. From its first single, the anthem “Keep The Spirit Alive”, to its 2013 album “STaRT @ oNe”, the band’s timeline includes extensive MTV airplay, recording for major labels, racking up a few Juno nominations and playing some of the largest venues throughout the world.
