Mark Morton Reveals Lamb of God Were Sued After Listening to Band’s Demo

No, Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton won’t listen to your band’s demo. Don’t take it personally, though, as Mark has a good reason for avoiding your band’s music; he doesn’t want to get sued… again.

Successful bands get inundated with demos all the time. Some of rock and metal’s greatest bands kickstarted their careers by handing a CD to the right person, but things are a little more complex these days, as evidenced by legal issue Lamb of God faced a while ago.

Right before the holidays, Morton took to his personal Twitter account to describe the crappy situation:

Sorry fans, you’ll have to hand your music out elsewhere. Lamb of God will begin to crush 2016 with a U.S. headlining tour. The metal titans will bring Anthrax, Deafheaven and Power Trip on the road with them, so be sure to check out the full list of dates and find a show near you.
