HALESTORM’s LZZY HALE Guests On Swedish Dance DJ-Duo DADA LIFE’s ‘Tic, Tic, Tic’

DADA LIFE — the headlining Swedish dance DJ-duo — has released “Tic, Tic, Tic”, which finds the Stockholm-based duo of Olle Cornéer and Stefan Engblom collaborating with raspy female rocker Lzzy Hale of HALESTORM and exploring new musical arenas. The song premiered on Thursday, February on PopMatters.com and can now be streamed via SoundCloud here and purchased on iTunes.

“We’re always looking for that specific feeling of happiness and rage at the same time in our music,” says DADA LIFE. “We really want people to be smiling while they’re hurting themselves. This time we think we really nailed it!”

“I am a fan of the strange — and DADA LIFE expresses themselves in a way that connects with my own ‘weird,'” adds Lzzy Hale. “I want to thank them for having me on this track and letting me lend my rock ‘n’ roll swagger to their inspiring music! ‘Tic, Tic, Tic’ is eternally in my head and heart. Hope everyone enjoys!”

Back in 2014, DADA LIFE collaborated with former SKID ROW singer Sebastian Bach on a new version of the twosome’s banger “Born To Rage”.

In a 2014 interview with In De Goot Entertainment, Lzzy stated about her many collaborations with artists in different genres of music, including classical-rock crossover violinist Lindsey Stirling and country artist Eric Church: “I’m a very ‘do what I want, when I want, with whoever I want’ type of gal. If I believe or admire someone, regardless of the genre, I will be very happy to work with them. Lindsey is a shredder! She’s the real deal, and even when everyone said she’d never make it, she moved forward and did it anyway. I have a responsibility as a musician and a girl to support that. Next, I’d love to work with Eminem and I’d love to bring P!nk to the dark side.”
