GWAR Add Another Leg to ’30 Years of Total World Domination’ Tour

Liz Ramanand, Loudwire

GWAR just wrapped up the 6th Annual GWAR-B-Q over the weekend in Richmond, Va., The three-day extravaganza featured numerous performances, including the entire Summer Slaughter lineup.

The band had previously announced the “30 Years of Total World Domination” tour with Butcher Babies and Battlecross that kicks off Friday (Aug. 25) in Millvalle, Pa. Now, on the heels of the weekend debauchery at GWAR-B-Q, the band has announced an additional leg of the tour.

The first portion of the trek wraps up with Riot Fest in Toronto on Sept. 19. After a few week break, the tour will pick up again beginning Oct. 7 in Cincinnati, Ohio. Battlecross will once again be supporting, along with Born of Osiris. Cryptopsy will provide direct support on the Canadian dates.

Guitarist Pustulus Maximus gives a preview of what to expect from the tour: ”I have yet to grasp this concept of the internet and the spouting of self-important speeches by people in social media; the INTERNET MUST DIE, so GWAR will KILL IT!. Management tells me the internet is not a person that can be fought and killed, but they don’t know the true power of a Scumdog. WE KILL EVERYTHING!”

Tickets for the newly announced dates go on sale Friday, Aug. 21, but GWAR fan club members can get them now at this location.
