Former FAITH NO MORE Singer CHUCK MOSLEY To Release ‘Demos For Sale’ In July

Former FAITH NO MORE vocalist Chuck Mosley has signed a deal with THC: Music for the release of “Demos For Sale” in July through the EMP Label Group/eOne in North America and EMP/SPV in Europe.

“Demos For Sale” is a compilation of demos and early mixes from Mosley’s 2009 solo album, “Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food”, which he has compiled as a better representation of his initial vision for the songs.

Says Mosley: “While it was a great record for what it was, and a lot of people love it, ‘Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food’ turned into a monster that I let get completely out of control with overdubs, over-production, my live tracks getting redone by God knows who. ‘Demos For Sale’ is a choice version of the LP, before it mutated into ‘Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food’, a little closer to how we wanted it to be — live, dirty and punk rock… warts and all.”

“Demos For Sale” will be made available on July 8 on CD and July 22 on limited-edition vinyl LP.

Mosley will hit the road in May and tour through 2016 on the “Reintroduce Yourself: An Evening With Chuck Mosley” tour, an intimate acoustic tour playing a retrospective of songs from his storied career.

“Will Rap Over Hard Rock For Food” was released in August 2009 via the Cleveland-based label Reversed Image Unlimited. The CD featured guest appearances from John 5 (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON), Roddy Bottum (FAITH NO MORE, IMPERIAL TEEN) and Michael Cartellone (LYNYRD SKYNYRD). KORN frontman Jonathan Davis, who attributes Mosley as a massive influence, also made an appearance on the single “The Enabler”.

With Mosley at the helm, FAITH NO MORE became one of the ’80s’ leading underground bands on the strength of 1985’s “We Care a Lot” and 1987’s “Introduce Yourself”. Despite exiting the group in 1988 under less-than-friendly circumstances, the Ohio-based Mosley is now friendly with most of his former FNM bandmates and has even joined them on stage in recent years.
