FOREIGNER Partners with StereoCast To Donate Upcoming Tour Proceeds To Grammy Foundation

Rock group FOREIGNER has announced plans to donate all profits made from StereoCast recordings of their upcoming tour to the Grammy Foundation. All proceeds from purchases made on the new music app will go straight to the foundation, which helps to provide funding for high school music programs. FOREIGNER’s generous donations will also aid music education at local high schools, a cause close to the band’s heart.

The all-acoustic tour kicks off at The Theatre at Westbury in New York on February 11, with more shows to follow. Each venue in the area will be wired to support the StereoCast technology. The new music platform offers a seamless connection between concert-goers, their favorite live performers, and the venues they attend. Fans can now download live songs they just fell in love with at a show, in pristine, fully mixed and mastered quality. Concerts will no longer be a fleeting memory, but a digital souvenir.

Recordings of FOREIGNER’s future tour will be available for purchase globally through the app. FOREIGNER will also be offering a free download of a live recording of “Feels Like the First Time”, one of their most renowned tracks, to those who download the StereoCast app in celebration of this new partnership. With the free download they also hope to encourage others to support the prolific cause of the Grammy Foundation.

StereoCast is a first-of-its-kind, live-music purchase platform that provides music lovers with an exciting and innovative way to experience the live music events they attend, artists with a new way to make real money from their music, and venue owners with a meaningful source of revenue from events they hold. With the free StereoCast app, a fan can buy the live songs they have just heard at a concert, in fully mixed and mastered quality, and take that unique magical moment home to be enjoyed for a lifetime. Music fans can take the “show to-go” with the invention of the first ever “digital souvenir.”
