DREAM THEATER’s JORDAN RUDESS Pays Musical Tribute To DAVID BOWIE (Video)

DREAM THEATER keyboardist Jordan Rudess has paid tribute to David Bowie, who died on Sunday, two days after his 69th birthday.

Said Rudess: “Here is my musical tribute to the iconic David Bowie, who, thanks to my friend Tony Visconti, I had the great experience to work with back in 2002 on the ‘Heathen’ album. Here is his classic song, ‘Space Oddity’, played in my home just this morning (January 11th) after hearing the very sad news.”

Bowie died just three days after releasing his 25th studio album, “Blackstar”.

The singer, songwriter, actor and fashion icon reportedly kept his 18-month battle with cancer so private that even close friends weren’t aware of his struggle.
