BUCKCHERRY Is Working On New EP

BUCKCHERRY singer Josh Todd has told Australia’s Rolling Stone in a new interview that the band is working on an EP to follow last year’s “Rock ‘N’ Roll” album. “We’ll probably be working on a new [full-length] album next year, but right now we’re making an EP,” he said. “We released the ‘Fuck’ EP in 2014, which was a lot of fun.”

He added: “Our objective is to write three EPs and eventually have a box set. Each will have a theme, to keep them fun and interesting.”

Each of the six songs on the “Fuck” EP had the F-word in the title, including “Somebody Fucked With Me”, “I Don’t Give A Fuck” and the first single, a cover of Icona Pop’s hit “I Love It”, re-imagined as “Say Fuck It”.

Todd said told Yahoo! Music that “Fuck” was “not just some silly rock record,” adding, “It’s not about offending anybody as much as celebrating the word. There are so many ways to use the word. We wanted to capture that on an EP and not hold back or censor anything.”

The digital deluxe edition release of “Rock ‘N’ Roll” was made available on January 29 via F-Bomb/Caroline. The new edition features the record’s original track list as well as the newly released version of “The Feeling Never Dies” (featuring guest vocals from Grammy Award-winning country artist Gretchen Wilson), a brand new song titled “Getting Started” and a B-side called “Cannonball”.
