As we reported yesterday, Ozzy Osbourne returned to the Alamo 33 years after his infamous public urination incident to once again make amends with the city of San Antonio. Not only did Ozzy and son Jack Osbourne get a personal tour of the grounds, but the duo received an impassioned welcome upon their arrival.
Highly intoxicated and wearing a dress, Ozzy unknowingly peed on the Alamo Cenotaph while in town for a 1982 gig. He was banned from playing San Antonio for 10 years, until Ozzy donated $10,000 to the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, who maintain and manage the Alamo grounds.
Ozzy and Jack Osbourne are currently filming a new show for the History Channel, so they figured what better place to visit than the Alamo. The plan was to come as everyday tourists, but after District 1 Councilman Robert Trevino spoke publicly about Ozzy’s visit, more than 100 fans showed up in a frenzy to meet the Prince of Darkness. Jack Osbourne kindly asked the crowd to give the hosts and crew a little room to film and off they went for a tour of the Alamo.

“This is my first time here, not his,” Jack joked with tour guide Stephen L. Hardin. “I think [Ozzy] was a little overwhelmed,” Hardin told the San Antonio Express-News. “The plan was for them to just fly in under the radar … for Jack and Ozzy to be like regular tourists. And the producers swore me to secrecy because we didn’t want a mob scene. I’m friends with Phil Collins, too. His fan base is very much different. I can tell you that.”
