Something sinister this way comes! And you’ll find it in the midst of the new Motorhead video for “When the Sky Comes Looking for You.”
As seen in the cinematic Pep Bonet-directed video for the song, a motorcycle riding stranger in a straw hat is not one to be messed with. We’re introduced to the man at “the crossroads,” coming up upon an aspiring singer looking for a little help. But with one wipe of his hand, the life flows out of her body.
We follow this sinister fellow to a nearby bar where he knocks back countless shots, flashes a wad of money and is invited to play cards with a trio of shady guys who recently swindled another player. But that won’t be the case here. Check out how the stranger swiftly deals with these cheaters. Bonet’s video was shot over two days in Palma de Mallorca with extras who had applied to be part of the filming.
“When the Sky Comes Looking for You” is featured on Motorhead’s latest album, Bad Magic. The album has already yielded such standouts as their cover of the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil,” the single “Electricity” and more. You can pick up the album here.
Motorhead will return to the road in January, kicking off a major European tour in support of the disc. Check out all of their tour dates here.
