Escape the Fate Announce New Album ‘Hate Me’ + Fall 2015 U.S. Tour Dates

Escape the Fate have just announced that they will be releasing their new album Hate Me on Oct. 30. The group has also lined up October and November headlining tour dates in support of their new disc. The trek kicks off Oct. 12 in Anaheim, Calif., and wraps up in San Diego, Calif., on Nov. 15. Check out their full list of tour dates below.

In celebration of the upcoming disc and tour, the band is allowing fans to download one of Hate Me‘s tracks for free. Those who head to the band’s website will get the leadoff track “Just a Memory” for free for the next 48 hours. Pre-orders for their new disc start this Friday (Aug. 21), and until then, check out the effort’s full track listing below.

In a press release about their upcoming album, frontman Craig Mabbitt sets the bar high for their new disc. He proclaims, “This new album is, without any question in my mind, the best thing that has ever borne the Escape The Fate name by a distance.” He went on to explain the album’s title Hate Me as follows: “Lyrically, a lot of these tracks are based around the hate we’ve received over the years and just embracing that and using it to our own advantage.”

He continues, “I’ve had to step up to the plate lately, for the fans as much as anything else, because they take the name Escape The Fate very seriously and I owe them something for that, for all the support they’ve shown us over the years. It’s very humbling for me to be able to listen to this collection of songs and think about where we’ve come from and what we’ve been through to get to this point.”

The group isn’t just excited about their upcoming album, they seem to be just as amped up for their upcoming headlining tour. Guitarist Kevin “Thrasher” Gruft commented, “So f**king stoked to play live on our headlining tour. I’m really excited to showcase a newly designed set list; including songs off our new album Hate Me. As always, we cannot wait to meet all of you at the shows. This is a tour you do not want to miss!!” The band is bringing A Skylit Drive, Sworn In, Sirens & Sailors and Myka Relocate on tour with them and pre-sale tour tickets begin on Aug. 20.
