Behind-the-scenes footage from the making of MOTÖRHEAD’s video for the song “When The Sky Comes Looking For You” can be seen below. The clip was directed by Pep Bonet, who has been working with the band since 2008 and compiled MOTÖRHEAD’s “Röadkill” book of photography. It was shot over two days in Palma de Mallorca with extras who had applied to be part of the filming after Bonet made an online appeal.
“When The Sky Comes Looking For You” is taken from MOTÖRHEAD’s 22nd studio album, “Bad Magic”, which was released on August 28, 2015. The CD was recorded at NRG Studios with longtime producer Cameron Webb.
MOTÖRHEAD frontman Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister, who celebrated his 70th birthday on Christmas Eve (December 24), learned two days later that he was afflicted with an aggressive form of cancer. He died two days later, on December 28, at his home in Los Angeles.
The MOTÖRHEAD frontman had dealt with several health issues over the past few years, including heart trouble, forcing him to cut back on his famous smoking and Jack Daniels habits.
The band was forced to cancel a number of shows last year, although they did manage to complete one final European tour on December 11.
