The members of the Ghost Inside continue the slow recover from the significant injuries they suffered in a gruesome bus crash last November. The latest update comes from guitarist Zach Johnson, who reveals he lost two toes as a result of his injuries.

It has been a trying time for Johnson, who was recently released from the hospital after undergoing eight surgeries since the November bus crash. Keeping fans up to date on the process, he first posted a poll to see if people actually wanted to see photos of his foot. He later posted a rather graphic before and after photo from a recent surgery. For the squeamish, we’ll place that shot at the bottom of this post.

But as stated, Johnson was recently released from the hospital and was happy to return home. A few of his tweets can be seen below.

The bus crash killed the drivers of both vehicles instantly, while others aboard the bus continue to deal with the aftermath. Drummer Andrew Tkaczyk recently revealed that he lost his right leg as part of the accident. Meanwhile, frontman Jonathan Vigil has been unable to walk, but just posted that he was standing on his good foot for the first time in two and a half months and hoped to be walking soon. His tweet can be seen below.
