Mike Hranica, vocalist/lyricist for the metalcore band THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, will see his third book released today. Titled “Three Dots & The Guilt Machine”, the book is, according to Hranica, “a five-year compilation of poetry, prose, and general nonsense… a collection of writing that rarely finishes its breath. A hundred fifty-something pages of what one might consider eclectic truth fiction.”
Priced at $15, “Three Dots & The Guilt Machine” can be purchased at Amazon.com, at MikeHranica.com, and via THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA’s online merchandise store. It will also be available on the band’s upcoming “Apollo X” fall North American tour.
Hranica’s first book, “One & A Half Hearts”, published in 2013, takes a subjective look at the story behind the lyrics from “Dead Throne”, PRADA’s 2011 album. Three editions of that book completely sold out and is no longer available. 2013’s “Home for Grave”, the writer’s second book, is a fictional story inspired by THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA’s song of the same name from the band’s “8:18” album.
THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA will co-headline the “Apollo X” tour this fall with MOTIONLESS IN WHITE. Support will come from UPON A BURNING BODY, THE WORD ALIVE and THE COLOR MORALE.
