The ReAktion Streaming New Album ‘Selknam’ in Full

Chilean electro-hard rockers the ReAktion are streaming their new album Selknam in celebration of the album’s release. The band fuse together elements of electronic music with a melodic metal tinge that coalesces into a truly unique sound. Already having released two singles, “Synchro” and “Ten Steps to Success,” the band are ready for the rest of their dynamic album to be heard.

Commenting on one of the singles, vocalist Simon Rojas stated, “‘Synchro’ is about how we are all connected, we are all one. We need to find one path, one way, one love. Love is all you need to find yourself and everybody on earth is pure energy, we are all the same, no races, no countries. No more sick societies. If we could really love and respect each other, then we will find the end of wars, competitions, all fighting or dying for. I am because we are one.”

The ReAktion are managed by Slipknot‘s Sid Wilson through the Mach 2.8 Management Company. Wilson isn’t the only big name touting this young and exciting band as they were discovered by legendary producers GGGarth and Bob Ezrin. Between the two, they have worked on some of the most iconic albums in music, including Pink Floyd‘s The Wall, Red Hot Chili Peppers‘ Mother’s Milk and Alice Cooper‘s Welcome to My Nightmare and a dizzying amount more.

The group is getting ready for their appearance at Knotfest in San Bernardino, Calif. this weekend, which will feature Slipknot, Judas Priest, Korn, Mastodon and many more. The festival touts a variety of different acts, ensuring the ReAktion will fit in just fine with their heavy electronic leanings. Stream the new album above!
